The garden boxes & planting tables I make can be made in a variety of sizes to fit your needs. Highly recommend to have them sealed, stained or painted to ensure longevity. The paint I use is garden safe, high quality, low VOC, mold/mildew resistant, exterior acrylic paint in satin or semigloss. Nitzer Ebb and Lead Into Gold shared a evening here in Portland at Mississippi Studios last night. It was nice to see Bon take the helm, and David on the controls, they did well and the show was great. Wish them well for the rest of their tour, Douglas would be proud. Paul played a great set, always enjoy getting to experience his music live.
I'll have a tent set up with my art and goodies for Last Thursday on Alberta (July 30th, 2026) here in Portland, Oregon tonight from 6pm-9-pm. Alberta Street will close 15 blocks for arts, crafts, music, and culture. The event is free and family friendly.
When I moved to Portland from the Midwest, I gave most of my paint away to the community before I left. I purchased about a thousand dollars worth of spray paints to restock my studio when I got here. When I purchased the paint at a local art/craft store, I was asked for ID and I assumed it was to verify my age like what they did back in Chicago. I wasn't paying too much attention to the cashier as I was checking off my supply list. What I didn't know was that the cashier wrote down my personal info and later passed it along to the cops.

A lovely evening with my most favorite Kult! One of the last Wax Trax! bands still touring, My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult is celebrating almost 40 years. It was an electrifying night at the Crystal Ballroom here in Portland, the crowd was so hype and everyone danced their asses off. Awesome having Portland resident Light Asylum for one of the openers, her set was badass! TKK is one of my beloved favorite bands, thanks for all the years of trashy disco sexy industrial fun! Chicago represent!
Gamjam 4, aka the Grass Hut Art Market, is back for a one-day festival celebrating the beautiful and the bizarre!
Taking place Saturday, October 4, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Lloyd Center Mall (2nd floor, old Ulta space near Marshall’s entrance), this year’s festival promises over 40 local artists and vendors, alongside amazing, eye-melting pieces from 40+ artists around the globe, including special guest Draculazer!
Explore an eclectic mix of Sofubi, toys, comics, local zines, fine art prints, ceramics, glass, and more — a true showcase of human creativity in every medium. Special vendor zones curated by Secret Room Press and Mallrats bring a burst of local talent to the forefront, while live DJ sets & visuals by Wormholes keep the energy high for a day of discovery and delight.
Tickets are $2 per person, with $1 from every ticket supporting Rahab’s Sisters, a nonprofit organization providing hot meals and hygiene products to Portland’s most vulnerable populations.
Kick things off early with a pre-JAM Art Show by Special Guest Draculazer beginning October 3rd from 5–7 p.m. at the Grass Hut Art Market inside Floating World Comics at the Lloyd Center Mall. This free event is a perfect way to preview the festival and get into the GAMJAM spirit!

Had a great time in Portland at Skinny Puppy's final tour celebrating 40 years! One of the most influential bands of our time, they have inspired so many artists and music acts spanning many different genres. It was awesome having Lead Into Gold supporting Skinny Puppy for their final tour. Everyone seemed to be in good spirits, it was such a wonderful time. Skinny Puppy has been a major influence in my life, thanks for all the years of sharing your art with the world, you'll be missed. ♥
Completed my son's third Xbox Adaptive Controller today. My son has cerebral palsy which affects his core muscles in which he can not walk, sit up or have much use of his arms and hands. Instead, he uses his legs and feet to explore his surroundings. And he's very good at using them, along with his amazing problem solving brain, to do just about anything that arms and hands can do. So, this controller was built just for that, this time allowing him to use two feet at once. His current favorite games are Minecraft, Roblox, Goat Simulator, Spongebob Battle of Bikini Bottom, Kart Racers, Lego games, and Grounded.
